Pre-Market Trading Report for Stocks, Bonds, Commodities and Forex

STOCKS – European stocks were little changed as investors awaited data on consumer confidence in the euro area. U.S. futures rose, while Asian shares were little changed.
 
BONDS – Treasury traders have gotten over the jolt from Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen’s suggestion in March that the central bank may raise U.S. interest rates as soon as the middle of next year.
 
COMMODITIES – Crude Oil climbed to the highest intraday level in a month after industry data showed crude inventories slid in the U.S., the world’s biggest oil consumer. 
 
CURRENCIES – The pound rose for a fifth day against the dollar as a jump in U.K. retail sales last month stoked speculation the Bank of England will move closer to raising interest rates as the economy strengthens.
