STOCKS – European stocks were little changed, with the Stoxx Europe 600 Index heading for its first monthly gain since May. Asia’s benchmark stock gauge headed for its first monthly decline since April while the US stock futures trading higher on the last day of the month.
BONDS – This year’s Treasury market rally has been stronger than every economist surveyed by Bloomberg News predicted.
COMMODITIES – Gold fell for the first time in four days in London as investors weighed signs of an improving U.S. economy against tension over Ukraine.
CURRENCIES – The euro was set for a seven-week slide, the longest stretch in more than a decade, as a report showed gains in consumer prices in the region slowed this month.
