STOCKS – Futures on the Dow and the S&P are only a touch higher. Earlier, Asia managed to sneak mostly higher on its major indexes. Europe was mainly stuck in red territory early in the day.
BONDS – US Treasuries traded range bound after breaking out of recent highs during yesterday’s US trading session.
COMMODITIES – Crude-oil futures were choppy in Asian trade Wednesday ahead of this week’s numbers on U.S. oil stockpiles and as investors positioned themselves amid volatile currency markets.
CURRENCIES – The dollar drifted lower against the euro and the yen in Asia on Wednesday, with investors reluctant to take strong positions amid a lack of fresh market-moving news.
ECONOMIC DATA – US Core Durable Goods Orders m/m due at 8:30, Crude Oil Inventories at 10:30 ET.
