WORLD HEADLINES: Crude Oil Inventories

WORLD HEADLINES – Positive earnings set the tone for equity markets while the dollar traded at a seven-week high. Gold headed for the lowest close this month. Oil prices traded flat as investors awaited a clearer signal from weekly U.S. crude inventory data on whether a glut was easing in the world’s largest oil-consuming nation. Libya’s eastern oil export terminal of Hariga resumes operations on Wednesday after a protest by guards over pay ended. The U.S. government’s Energy Information Administration (EIA) will issue stockpile data at 10:30 am ET.
