Pre-Market Trading Report – Global Financial Markets

STOCKS – European stocks declined for a second day as companies from WPP Plc to Allianz SE posted profit that missed estimates. U.S. index futures erased their advance, while Asian shares were little changed.

BONDS – Treasuries rose for a third day as harsh winter weather damped the outlook for the U.S. economy and as political turmoil in Ukraine boosted demand for safer assets.
COMMODITIES – Copper traded near the lowest price since December in London amid concern demand is poised to slow in China, the biggest consumer of the metal, as mining companies move to increase production.

CURRENCIES – The Japanese Yen climbed as reports that Russia put fighter jets on combat alert amid rising tensions in Ukraine sparked risk aversion flows.

ECONOMIC DATA – US Core Durable Goods Orders and Unemployment Claims due at 8:30, Fed Chair Yellen Testifies at 10:00, Natural Gas Storage at 10:30, NZD ANZ Business Confidence at 19:00 ET.
